About GolfMaster's
Buffalo GolfMaster's Golf Driving Range
Buffalo GolfMaster’s Driving Range opened in 1991 by Elmer and Carole Abbas, and is located ½ mile east of the Buffalo Airport and ¼ mile northeast of Highway 55 at 2561 Division Street East. Blue specific service highway signs are located on Highway 55 to point the way.
GolfMaster’s offers discount prepaid cards, annual memberships, children under 5 hit for free when accompanied by a paying adult, seniors 55+ get upgrade to the next size bucket, and 75+ year olds don’t have to pay unless they prefer to. Area youth groups, school golf teams and phy-ed classes practice at GolfMaster’s for a reduced fee, and fund-raising opportunities are available as well. Current prices for the use of a bucket of golf balls at the range are $5, $6, and $7.
GolfMaster’s customers enjoy the rural setting as they practice and improve their golf game with area for up to 30 golfers at a time. In the evening the sun is setting over the shoulders of the golfers. Even if the practice isn’t going well the sunsets are beautiful as are the wildlife that frequently run across the far end of the range.
The driving range opens in the spring when the weather is 45 degrees or better, April 1st or before. We close the season around October 1st. Hours are 11 AM to sunset Monday through Friday, 9AM to sunset on Saturday, and 1Pm to sunset on Sunday.
At GolfMaster’s you will improve your game with high quality lost and now found golf balls, not range balls. Many of our customers bring us balls they’ve retrieved while searching for their own on the golf courses.
Over the years, Elmer has developed a golf learning method that helps golfers use the skills of baseball, softball, hockey, tennis and other hitting sports. This method allows for more accurate, consistent, and enjoyable golf. Young and old, skilled and unskilled golfers have benefited from this instruction. The swing Elmer teaches is also easier on the body and can be adjusted to issues caused by aging and disabilities. Ask for a free demonstration. Elmer will also assist golfers who are working on the traditional swing. The local golf course pros use the range for lessons as well.
Elmer, Carole and range assistants look forward to helping you make your golf game better with frequent, consistent practice at Buffalo GolfMaster’s Driving Range.
